Mr. Binau died Friday in Shawnee following a short illness. He was born in Allerton, Iowa Sept. 5, 1888.
He moved to Ashland, Kan. , in 1927, Buffalo, Okla. in 1933 and moved to Pottawatomie County in the Shawnee-Tecumseh area since 1943.
She was a member of the Blackburn Chapel Baptist Church.
Survivors include his wife, Mrs. Nellie Binau, of the home, two daughters, Mary A. Burnidge, Alva, Clara M. Wenzel, Kiowa, Kan. five sons, Ivan Binau, Harvey Binau, Albert Binau and Eugene Binau all of Tecumseh and Eli Binau, Kiowa, Kan., one brother, Adam E. Binau, Corydon, Iowa, 11 grandchildren and four great-grandchildren.
Cooper Funeral home is in charge of arrangements.
