Surviving are his wife, Mrs. Pearl Emerick, and seven children: Mrs. Ira Emerick and Mrs. Verdie Emerick, both of Fairhope; Mrs. James Mowry, Berlin; Roy, Fairhope R.D. 1; Ellwood, with the Army and Wilbert and Fred, both with the Navy. He was a brother of Christopher and Albert Emerick, both of Hyndman R.D.; Mrs. Mary Troutman, Comps, and Mrs. Ellen Logsden, Hyndman.
Funeral services were conducted at 2:30 p.m. Wednesday, at Comps Church. Interment in the Comps Cemetery under direction of Mortician Ziegler of Hyndman.
