Leonard R. Boyer Broadway, VA Leonard R. Boyer, 92, died October 18, 2011. He was born September 9, 1919 in Grand Ledge, Michigan, and was a son of the late Freda Cotton. His adopted parents were the late Charles and Cynthia Boyer. He worked for Clark Equipment Company in Battle Creek, MI, and retired from Whitson Morgan Ford in Clarksville, Ark.. In December, 1960 he married Alleyne Brenice Boyer who survives. Also surviving are a son, Shirel (Clete) Boyer and wife Petra of Diamondale, MI; a daughter, Izetta Reed and husband Ross of West Branch, MI; stepdaughters, Sheri Lee Childs of Broadway, Tina Kay Wallace and Mary Beth Madison, both of Ft. Smith, Ark.; stepson, Richard (Rico) Dunsmore of Lakeland, FL; 16 grandchildren; 26 great grandchildren; 1 great great granddaughter. He was preceded in death by a son and daughter in law, (Leonard) Ray Boyer and Jan; a daughter and son in law, Jama Childs and Phillip; and a grandson, Jason Boyer. Family will receive friends 1 hour before the graveside service at 2:00 p.m. Friday at Memorial Park Cemetery in Battle Creek, MI.
