Edith Hopkins, 86, of Texarkana, Ark., died Friday, Sept. 7, 2007, in a local hospital.
Mrs. Hopkins was born Aug. 12, 1921, in Texarkana, Ark. She was retired from Red River Army Depot and a member of American Legion, Navy Mothers, Women's Auxiliary, Woodmen of the World and Cornerstone Baptist Church. She was preceded in death by her husband, Roy H. Hopkins.
Survivors include one nephew and niece, of Texarkana; two great-great-nieces and one spouse, of Texarkana; four great-great-great-nieces, of Texarkana; and one special friend, of Genoa, Ark.
Graveside services were Sept. 8 at Hillcrest Memorial Park with the Rev. William V. Garner officiating.
