Mrs. E. A. McCowan
Mrs. Elizabeth A. McCowan, widow of Z. Taylor McCowan, died at 4:40 yesterday afternoon in the Homeopathic Hospital, where she had been admitted Monday Mar. 26h.
Mrs. McCowan had been in poor health for some time, and recently suffered a stroke, while at the home of her daughter, Naomi of 22 North Walnut Street, west Chester.
The deceased was in her 78th year, and was born in Lancaster county, the daughter of the late David and Elizabeth Ranck.
Four children survive: Aaron G., of Downingtown; Ruth Cavins, of Philadelphia; Mrs. Myrtle Singer, of Wawa, and Miss Naomi McCowan, of West Chester.
McCOWAN- On Thursday, March 29, 1934, Elizabeth A., widow of Z.T. McCowan, in her 75th year.
Relatives and friends of the family are invited to attend the funeral without further notice from the Harold A. Famous Funeral Home, 101 S. Church St., West Chester, Pa., on Sunday, April 1st. Services at 2 p.m. Interment at Northwood Cemetery. Friends may call Saturday evening.
