Mrs. Bounds celebrated her 90th birthday, November 12, 2011 and also celebrated her 70th wedding anniversary, December 27, 2011. Mrs. Bounds is preceded in death by her granddaughter Ida Gunn, son-in-law Claude Gunn and numerous brothers and sisters. She was a member of Sand Hill Baptist Church and a homemaker. She is survived by her husband; Gus Bounds of Lumberton, MS; one daughter; Sylvia Jean Gunn of Lumberton, MS; two sons; Rev. Ben Bounds (Linda) of Hendersonville, TN and Rev. Steve Bounds of Lumberton, MS, five grandchildren: Sammy (Karen) Gunn, Tony (Kris) Gunn, Ava (Robert) Kinsey, Eric (Jennifer) Bounds and Brian (Cassie) Bounds, six great-grandchildren and one sister; Clara Williams of Ackerman, MS. Visitation will be Sunday, January 29, 2012 from 2:00 pm - 6:00 pm at Moore Funeral Home. Services will be 11:00 am Monday, January 30, 2012 at Moore Funeral Home Chapel.
