Victor Britt Reeves, 84, of Gloster, died Dec. 16, 1995, at Our Lady of the Lake Medical Center in Baton Rouge, La.
Visitation will be from 2 p.m. Sunday at Mt. Pleasant Baptist Church until 3 p.m. services there with the Rev. Keith Zachary and the Rev. Ron Boysel officiating. Burial will be in Mt. Pleasant cemetery with Brown Funeral Home of Gloster in charge of arrangements.
Mr. Reeves was born Jan. 16, 1911, in Amite County. He was the son of the late Steve Reeves and the late Lizzie Terrell Reeves.
He was a member of Mt. Pleasant Baptist Church.
He was preceded in death by his parents; and three grandchildren, Bo Reeves, Missy Reeves and R. B. Reeves Jr.
He is survived by his wife of 59 years, Pauline Rollins Reeves; three sons, Victor Marcell Reeves of Casa Grande, Ariz., and Leslie Darrell Reeves and Ronald Britt Reeves, both of Gloster; three daughters-in-law, Evelyn Reeves, Aleska Reeves and Suzie Reeves, six grandchildren; three step-grandchildren and five great-grandchildren.
