Funeral services for Osborne C. Wallace were held at 11 a.m. Monday February 28 from Grace United Methodist Church. Interment was in Norwood Cemetery.
Mr Wallace succumbed to a heart attack on February 26 while sitting in his pickup. He was born February 19, 1901 near Bryan and was 71 years and 8 days of age.
Most of his lifetime was spent in Hearne where he had been employed by Southern Pacific Railroad for many years. Mr. Wallace was a member of Grace Methodist Church and was an avid hunter.
Survivors include his widow of Hearne, two sons, Osborne C. Wallace Jr. of Houston and Lloyd Seale of Hearne; one daughter, Mrs Vera Boswell of Monroe, Louisiana; 13 grandchildren and one great grandchild; a brother, Olen J. Wallace of Hearne; and two sisters, Mrs. Gilbert Richardson and Mrs. J.T. Lord, both of Hearne.

Note: Lloyd Seale Jr. and Vera Boswell were the children of Cora and her first husband Lloyd Seale, who died in 1937 at the age of 34, leaving her a widow.
O.C. also married Marie Collins 7 Aug 1933 which ended in divorce. Marie remarried and moved to California where she is interred.
