Ill 3 Days, Dies
George F. Beamer, 66 years old, 341 Bauer avenue, died today in Hackley Hospital after a three days illness. He was born in Lafayette, Ind., June 15, 1869 and lived there until 12 years of age. His parents then moved to Grand Rapids and in 1888 he came to Muskegon. He was married here the following year to Miss Belle Stauffer, and this has been their home ever since. Mr. Beamer has been a partner of the Bauer and Beamer Monument company since 1902. He was an active member in Muskegon Lodge No.274 B.P.O.E.
Surviving are his widow; five daughters, Mrs. Carl Olson of Muskegon; Mrs. C. M. Caywood of Fremont; Mrs. Emmanuel Reetz, and Mrs. Chester Erickson, both in Muskegon; and Mrs. Howard Camp in Spring Lake; three sons, Edward, Frank, and Philip, in Muskegon; a brother, Albert Beamer in Muskegon, and a sister, Mrs. Grace Murray in Detroit; and 11 grandchildren.
