FUNERAL OF MR. ANDERSON.

Former Wilmingtonian Passed Away at His Home in Ocala, Fla.
The body of Mr. Wiliam Anderson, a former resident of Wilmington, but for a number of years a resident of Ocala, Fla., whose death occurred at his late home a few days ago, was brought to this city yesterday on the 1:40 P. M. train. The funeral was held at 4 o'clock from St. James Episcopal church, conducted by Rev. Dr. Wm. H. Milton, and the internment was in Oakdale cemetery. The pallbearers were: Honorary, Capt. Louis Belden, Messrs. W. A. Williams, J. C. Munds and W. B. McKoy; active, Messrs. J. P. Watters Junius Davis, Jr., J.,. Brown McKoy, R. C. Cantwell, Jr., Robert Williams, L. S. Belden, Jr., and W. C Lord.
Mr. Anderson was a Past Exalted Ruler of the Ocala Lodge of Elks and the body was met at the union station here yesterday by a delegation from the local lodge of Elks. The local lodge also sent a handsome floral de sign.
Mr. Anderson moved from Wilmington to Ocala about 30 years ago. He was a prominent druggist of that place and was also interested in other enterprises, being vice, president of one bf the banks of that place. He was the eldest son of the late Dr. Edwin A. Anderson, of Wilmington. Some years ago he married Miss Rebecca Brown, of Wilmington, granddaughter of the late Mr. John Brown. Surviving are one son and two daughters, the daughters, before their marriage being Misses Sue and Margaret Anderson. ,
