AYNOR - John Byrd Watts, 69, of Horry Road died Friday, June 4, 1999, at Conway Hospital after an illness.
He was born in Aynor, a son of the late James Herbert and Stella Hucks Watts.
He attended Salem Baptist Church and was a Army veteran of the Korean War.
He was a retired farmer.
Survivors include his wife, Marie W. Watts; two daughters, Pamela W. Barnhill of Aynor, and Pandra W. Johnston of Conway; a son-in-law, Joey Johnston of Conway; two sisters, Helen W. Jacobs of Atlanta, and Eugenia W. Bagnal of Aynor; and four grandchildren, Whitney Barnhill, Garrett Grant and Gentry Johnston.
Visitation will be from 7 to 9 tonight at Goldfinch Funeral Home, Conway chapel.
The funeral will be at 4:30 p.m. Sunday at Salem Baptist Church. Burial will be in the church cemetery.
