died at home after an illness of several weeks that required an operation at Springfield Mass hospital; born Conway and after high school there became a teller at the Conway bank; became cashier there in 1902 and held that position until his death; member of Morning Sun lodge of Masons and was secretary for that group; member of Eastern Star, Community Club, and Methodist Church where he served as stewart and was on Executive committee of United Church; married Dec 1900 to Mary Truesdell who survives; also surviving are mother Helen J Cook, 3 sisters Mrs Julia Delabarre and Mrs Robert Jose of Washington State and Mrs Clarence Hassell of Conway, a brother S Walden Cook of Florence and 3 half-brothers Arthur M Cook of Fort Pierce Fla, Richard H Cook of Haydenville, and Charles L Cook of Greenfield.
