Rites for Mrs. Vorwald
Funeral services were held Monday at St. Mary's Catholic Church in Guttenberg
for Catherine C. Vorwald, who died Friday, April 21, 1972, at age 78.
The Rev. Robert Leiting officiated. Scripture wake service was held Sunday
evening at Tuecke-Allenstein Funeral Home. Burial was in Holy Trinity Cemetery
at Luxemburg.
She was born at Luxemburg November 27, 1893, the daughter of John and Mary
Heiderscheit Klein, and died at her home in Guttenberg.
Surviving are two sons, Eldon and Howard, both of Guttenberg, 12 grandchildren
and 8 great grandchildren, and a brother, Nicholas Klein of Umatilla, Ore.
