Elmina E. Martin, 88, of Market Street, Hyndman, died Jan. 10,1995, at Sacred Heart Hospital, Cumberland, Md.

Born Feb. 22, 1906,in Fairhope. Daughter of the late Emanuel and Daisey (Perdew) Emerick. She also was preceded in death by her husband, Ramon Martin, on Oct. 21, 1981; a brother, Joseph Emerick; four sisters: Daisey Myers, Pearl Ernst, Pauline Tooland and Violet Larson; a granddaughter and a great-grandson.

Mrs. Martin was a homemaker and a member of the Comps Church.

Survived by a son,two daughters, nine grandchildren, 14 great-grandchildren and 17 great-great-grandchildren.

Last surviving member of her immediate family.

Friends will be received from 7 to 9 p.m. Wednesday and from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Thursday at the Harvey H. Zeigler Funeral Home, Hyndman, where services will be conducted at 11 a.m. Friday, with the Rev. Leroy Logsdon officiating. Interment,Comps Cemetery.
