Ben aspired to be an author and actually wrote a novel, but those of us left don't know if he ever got it published. He worked in Hollywood for Metro-Goldwyn-Meyer as the assistant to the director and later as a private secretary.
He never married or had children, but was close to his parents and brothers and lived near or with them over the years. After his parents passed in California, he moved to Oklahoma to be near his brother Albie -- Albert Bartholomew and his wife, and here they all lived out their lives.
