William B. George, eighty-four, Catawissa RD2, near Roaring Creek, died at his home last evening at five-fifty. Death was due to complications. He was born in Conyngham township, July 11, 1875, son of the late Jeremiah and Christiana Goodman George. His first wife, the former Nettie Wilson, died in 1929. Surviving are his wife; four daughters, Mrs. Dale Kelchner, Mifflinville; Mrs. Eugene Cornelison, Catawissa RD1; Mrs. Milbert Trout, Catawissa; Mrs. Gele Derr, Bloomsburg RD1; two sons, Wilson, Chester, Pa., and Harry, Catawissa RD2; fourteen grandchildren, eleven great grandchildren; one sister, Mrs. Arthur Gahres, Mount Carmel; one brother, Ira N. George, Numbidia. Funeral services will be Sunday afternoon at one-thirty from the Billig Funeral Home, Numidia, by the Rev. John Pretz, Jr., pastor of St. Matthew's Lutheran Church, Catawissa. Burial will be in St. Paul's Lutheran Cemetery, Numidia.
