Violet A. "Sue"(McClintock) Wable, age 90, of Canton, passed away early Monday, December 31, 2007 in Summit's Trace of Greater Canton. She was born June 16, 1917 in Somerset, PA, a daughter to the late Caleb and Sadie (Holliday) McClintock. She was preceded in death by her husband of 40 years, Perry E. Wable and daughter, Agnes A. Rush.
Her survivors include a daughter, Nancy Snodgrass; grandchildren, Dale and Sherry Rush of Wisconsin, Jean and Tony Whitis of Carrollton, Tom and Anita Rush of Carrollton, Timmy and Pat Rush of Carrollton, Karen Barwick of Columbus; great grandchildren, Jessica, Clayton, Christopher, Brittany, Nicole, Tammy, TJ, Jennifer and Brad, four great-great grandchildren and a dear longtime friend, Jerry Drescher.
She was a lifetime member of Crystal Park United Methodist Church, and had not missed a day of church for 23 years.
Funeral services will be conducted Friday at 1:00 p.m. in the Reed Funeral Home Canton Chapel with Pastor Dan Wilson officiating. Interment will be in Sunset Hills Burial Park. Visitation for Family and friends will be Thursday evening from 6-8 p.m. in the funeral home.
