Abner Woodrow Moyer, 54, was born November 21, 1921 in Ray county, a son of Joseph and Tina (Ritchie) Moyer, and was a lifetime county resident.
Married to the former Frieda Kugler of Richmond on August 4, 1946, he was a member of the United Methodist church here, and was a Coast Guard veteran of World War II.
Besides his wife of the home, he is survived by a son, David of Richmond; two daughters, Mrs. Keith (Rita) Calvert, Henrietta, and Mrs. George (Janice) Stewart, Mannheim, Germany; four brothers, Jody Moyer, Ray Moyer and Allan Moyer all of Richmond and Neely Moyer, Blue Springs and five sisters, Mrs. Lettie Ferguson, Dallas City, Ill., Mrs. Cleo Hamm, San Antonio, Texas and Mrs. Virginia Vick, Miss Clara Moyer and Mrs. Sylvia Bryan, all of Richmond, and three grandchildren.
