Died : At the family home near Francis last Monday, Mr. C.S. Patton pf consumption. Mr. Patton was an Odd Fellow, a member of Itaska, Texas, Lodge No. 490, and the funeral was conducted by Mangum Lodge No. 50, I.O.O.F.

Son of Susan Watson and her first husband, William Patton, who was killed near Fort Scott, Kansas in 1863.
