Born in Saugus, Massachusetts, daughter to the late George and Oris (Chase) MacLean, she was raised and educated in Haverhill and was a graduate of Haverhill High School. She began her working career in the local shoe factories and went on to work for Western Electric and later Lucent Technologies before retiring.
Alberta enjoyed caring for her home and property no matter the project. She also liked spending time outdoors, especially long walks around her neighborhood. An avid animal lover, she was passionate about tending to her cats and dogs over the years. Above all, spending time with family was most important.
Alberta is sadly missed but lovingly remembered by her daughter, Terry A. Gigliotti of Plaistow; son, Dr. Robert F. Gigliotti O.D. of Cumming, GA; granddaughter, Ashley Gigliotti; sister, Joan Skibiki of Hanover, PA; several nieces and nephews and her beloved Beagle, Susie Q. In addition to her parents, she was predeceased by her husband Francis "Tootsie" Gigliotti, and her sister, Margee and her Pomeranian, Foxy.
A Funeral Service will be held on Wednesday, November 2, 2022, at 12:00pm – noon, at Brookside Chapel & Funeral Home, 116 Main St., Plaistow, NH. Burial will follow in the family lot at Plaistow Cemetery, Plaistow, NH. To send a message of condolence to the family, please use the guestbook from the funeral home website.
