SHREVEPORT – Graveside services for Mr. H. M. (Sonny) Edwards, 76, of Shreveport will be held at 2 p.m., Monday, August 5, at Forest Park Cemetery. Officiating will be the Rev. Wes Toncre, pastor of St. Paul's Lutheran Church, where he was a member. Services are under direction of Osborn Funeral Home.

Mr. Edwards was a native of Girard, La. and a resident of Shreveport for 75 years. He was the retired founder and co-owner of Bacon and Edwards Hardware and Sporting Goods. He was a veteran of WWII; member of the American Legion, the Forty and Eight Club, and retired Caddo Parish Jury Commissioner. He died at 7:25 a.m., Friday, August 2, 1985 at Schumpert Medical Center following a lengthy illness.

Survivors: wife, Mrs. Clarice T. Edwards; one daughter, Margaret Feinberg; two grandchildren, Rachel and Lydia Feinberg; two sisters, Mrs. R. R. Bacon, all of Shreveport and Mrs. W. A. Tabb of Bethany, La.

Pallbearers will be Ben Bacon, Sr., Ben Bacon, Jr., Michael Bacon, Frank Wardlaw, Louis Roach and Forrest Dunn.
