WILLIS EZEKIEL DANIELS, Jr. was born on Palm Sunday, March 26, 1950, in Raleigh, NC and made his transition on Saturday, February 7.
He was the son of Lethia and Willis Ezekiel Daniels, Sr. of Raleigh. He was the grandson of the late Mr. and Mrs. Milford Daniels and the late Mr. and Mrs. Walter Garnett Young.
He graduated from Boggs Academy, Keysville, GA in 1968, where he was, among other things, student body and class president. Willis was an alumnus of Duke University, Morehead State University and Oxford University. He was the West Regional Director of the Washington State Department of Employment Security. He was also the founder and senior partner of Daniels and Associates, a Tacoma, Washington-based program, business and community development consulting firm.
Along with his mother and father, Willis leaves a wife, Pauline Goza Daniels of Cary; a son, Joshua Ezekiel Daniels of Houston, TX; two sisters, Ethel Evans (Clarence) and Jocelyn Daniels, both of Raleigh; a younger brother, Robert Daniels (Ruby) of Swainsboro, GA; four nieces, Shea and Michelle Evans of Raleigh and Crystal and Demetria Doyle of Swainsboro, GA; three nephews, Michael Evans and John Daniels of Raleigh and Dedrick Doyle of Augusta, GA; a great niece, Shayla Evans of Raleigh and a host of aunts, uncles, cousins, in-laws and friends.
Funeral services will be held at Davie Street Presbyterian Church, 300 East Davie Street, Raleigh on February 13, 2004 at 1 pm. Burial will follow at Carolina Biblical Gardens.
