William Andrew Watt, 84, died Tuesday at a local convalasecing home following a long illness. He was born at Nova Scotia, September 28, 1878, the son of Thomas and Sophie Watt. He had lived in Belfast for about 40 years, where he worked as a painter. Besides his wife, Mrs Vernie Watt of Belfast, he is survived by a son Harold of Belfast; four daughters Mrs Katherine Vaughan, Mrs Frances Hustler, and Mrs Geraldine Sullvan, all of Belfast and Mrs George Tweedie of Portland; a sister, Mrs Margaret Newbert of Waldoboro; 11 grandchildren; five great-grandchilden, several nieces and nephews. Funeral services will be held at the Rackliffe Funeral Home at Belfast, Friday at 2 p.m., the Rev Vernall W. Drew, pastor of the first Baptist here, officiating. Interment will be in Grove Cemetery at Belfast..
