LYONS - Ira E. Jagger, 67, died Friday at the Veterans' Hospital, Wichita. Born Feb. 20, 1908, at Minneapolis, he married Ilene Peterson, Nov. 27, 1967, at Kinsley. He was a plumbing and heating contractor and lived here since 1946.
He was a member of the American Legion; Odd Fellows Lodge.
Survivors are the widow; son: David, Quito, Ecuador; daughter: Mrs. Dorothy Fuller, Dallas, Tex.; stepdaughters: Mrs. Pat Gilliland, Topeka; Mrs. Charles Aldredge, Salina; sister: Mrs. Cleo Pfanstiel, Venice, Calif.; Mrs. Eva Garst, Delphos; brother: Harold, Calif.; half-brother: Nathan Frankes, Calif.; six grandchildren; five step-grandchildren; three great-grandchildren.
Funeral will be 2 p.m. Monday at Crawford-Miller Mortuary; Rev. David Heikes. Burial will be in Lyons Municipal Cemetery. Friends may call from 1 to 7 p.m. Sunday at the mortuary.
