"Charles B Watt of 539 Allegheny St, a former Wellsburg resident, died Monday night in Ohio Valley Hospital, Steubenville. Mr Watt, a World War II veteran, leaves a daughter, Mrs Marie Grantonic of Walnut Creek, Ohio, two granddaughters and seven great grandchildren. Mr Watt was a member of American Legion Post 34 of Wellsburg. He was born March 17, 1892, in Freeport, Pa. Friends may call at the Carte Funeral Home, Wellsburg...services there Wednesday 2 pm; the Rev Mr Richard Tedesco; Kadesh Chapel Cemetery."

He was born March 17, 1892, in Freeport, Pa, son of the late Jonathan and Eva Keniston Watt. He was a veteran of World War II. Surviving are one daughter, Mrs Marie Grantonic of Walnut Creek, Ohio; one brother, Paul, of Butler, Pa; two granddaughters and seven great-grandchildren. Funeral services will be held at Carte's Wednesday at 2 pm with the Rev Richard Tedesco officiating. Burial will follow in Kadesh Chapel Cemetery."
