Funeral services for James Walter McAnally, Rt 2, will be at 2 p.m. Monday in the Smith Funeral Home Chapel, Mr. McAnally, 75, died Friday in a local hospital.
He was born Aug. 14, 1896, at Mt. Idy. Ark., to Louis and Sally Neal McAnally. He came to this community in 1902, and in 1922 he married Josie Fortenberry. A retired farmer, Mr. McAnally was a member of the Holiness Church.
His survivors include his wife, of the home; four sons, Lee Roy "Buck", Alvin, Wayne, and Gary McAnally, all of Ada; five daughters, Mrs. Hazel Henson, Mrs. Lois Rhynes, Mrs. Evelyn Rhynes, Mrs. Pearl Allen, and Mrs. Verna Lou Tatum, all of Ada; three brothers, John and Charlie McAnally, both of Ada, and Otis McAnally, Borger, Tex; a sister, Mrs. Mary Long, Ada; 26 grandchildren, and two great-grandchildren.
The Rev. Don Franklin of the Union Hill Church of God will perform the rites, and Interment will be at Rosedale Cemetery. Casketbearers will be Ronnie Mackey, Randy Delozier, Larry Archer, Kirby Lee Tilley, John Price, and Lawrence Poindexter.
