DEATH OF DUDLEY TURNER
Dudley Lee Turner, 55 years old, former resident of Marion county, died Friday evening at his home near Shelbyville. He had been ill for three days with a heart attack. He was a native of Monroe county, born near Stoutsville, November 17, 1881. After living in Hannibal for several years he moved to Shelby county in 1936.
On September 22, 1903, he was married to Miss Berta Bledsoe, who survives with three children, Mrs. Lorenzo Crook, of Philadelphia; Bledsoe Turner, a member of the CCC camp at Palmyra and Miss Mary Margaret Turner, of the family home. He also leaves two half-brothers, Wallace and Sam Turner, of near Shelbyville
Funeral services were held at the residence near Shelbyville Sunday afternoon, conducted by the Rev. C. E. Newton, of Paris.
