OBITUARY: Hereford Mrs. Alice E. Almony Krout, widow of John Krout, died at the residence of her son-in-law and daughter, Mr. and Mrs. Marion Ensor, this place, with whom she resided. she was 81. Mrs. Krout was a former resident of the West Liberty area. Surviving are five children, Frank Krout, Parkton; Ralph Krout, Seven Valleys RD2; Mrs. Marion Ensor, with whom she resided; Evans Krout, Owings Mill; and Mrs. Roy Tharp, Monkton; 11 grandchildren; 11 great-grandchildren; and a sister Mrs. Edna Williams, 260 East King St. York. Funeral services will be held Thursday at 1:30 p.m. at Hartenstein Mortuary, new Freedom. Rev. Kenneth G. Symes, pastor of Hereford methodist Charge, will officiate. Interment will be in Stabler's Church cemetery.
