Lyle Bickett, 82 of Oldham, died Monday June 6, 2011 at the Madison Community Hospital in Madison, SD.
Lyle Bickett was born November 24, 1928 at Madison, SD to Perle and Vella (Meyer) Bickett. He attended school in Oldham and graduated from Oldham High School. Lyle married Theresa Leonard on December 28, 1948 at Luverne, MN. The couple farmed in the Oldham area until moving into Oldham in 1988. Lyle also worked as a crop adjuster for North Central until he was 80. He loved sports, farming, family and going to auto races.
He is preceded in death by his parents, sisters, Doris Holland and Margaret Schneider; two brothers, Stanley and Aubrey Bickett; a son-in-law, Alan Gustafson.
