MRS. CYNTHIA DUNCAN PASSES INTO ETERNITY

Mrs. Cynthia Duncan, age 64 years, 6 months and 7 days, died at her home near Reason, Wednesday, September 15th, from an illness which attacked her last February.
Grandma Duncan, as she is loving remembered by her many neighbors and friends, was born at Cattlesburg, Kentucky, and became a Christian in her young womanhood days. She associated herself with God's people first by uniting with the Presbyterian church, but later became a member of the Methodist church, and has been a devout worker for her Master in the last named organization for many years.
Mrs. Duncan's husband died about three years ago, and she is survived by three of their children, Mrs. Tilt Lawrence of Clovis, New Mexico; Mrs. J. M. Patterson of near Ioland, and Donald Duncan who resides near Reason. May the Comforter of her life lead them to where she is, when their labors here are finished.
Funeral Services were held in the Ioland school house the following Thursday afternoon in the presence of a large congregation, Rev. John Smith, of Vici, conducting the service. Grandma Duncan sleep in the Ioland cemetery.
