Services will be at 10 a.m. Saturday, August 28, 1999, at the First Baptist Church in
Colorado City with Dr. Ted Spear officiating. Burial will follow in the Colorado City
Cemetery, under the direction of Kiker-Seale Funeral Home.
Mrs. Benson was born December 7, 1907 in Hunt County, Texas and had been a resident of Colorado City for the past 70 years. She married A.C. B enson on June 20, 1926 in Sweetwater. He preceded her in death on February 21, 1985. She was a homemaker and an active member
of the First Baptist Church. She was also preceded in death by two sons, Aubrey Lee Benson and Donald Wayne Benson; a grandson, David Benson and two great-grandchildren.
Survivors include two grandsons, Russell Benson of Colorado City and Bob Benson of Granbury; five great-grandchildren and two-great-great-grandchildren.
