Jacquelyn Carr McFadden age 81, of South McFadden Lane, London passed away Saturday at her residence. She was the mother Don McFadden and wife Lisa of London, Ky and Susan Girdler of Somerset, Ky she was preceded in death by a son Scotty McFadden.
Funeral services for Jacquelyn Carr McFadden will be conducted on Wednesday at 1:00 p.m. in the House-Rawlings Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Jerry Brown officiating. Burial will follow in the A.R. Dyche Memorial Park, London. Born Feb. 6, 1930 in Corbin, Ky., she was the daughter of the late Rev. Jesse Green Carr and Jettie Ellen Lawson Carr. She was employed by the Laurel County Board of Education as a secretary for 39 years, and was a member of First United Methodist Church, London. She was preceded in death by her parents; a son, Scotty McFadden; a brother, Harold Ray Carr; and a sister, Helen Carr Fogle. Survivors include a son, Don (Lisa) McFadden, London; a daughter, Susan Girdler, Somerset; four grandchildren, Clay, Courtney and Jacob McFadden, and Amanda Kidwell; plus a host of friends and relatives to mourn her passing. Funeral services will be conducted at 1 p.m. today, Wednesday, Jan. 25 at House-Rawlings Funeral Home Chapel with Jerry Brown officiating. Burial will follow in A.R. Dyche Memorial Park, London.
