Robert N. Cassell, a Methodist preacher of Upperco, Baltimore County, died Wednesday night at University Hospital in Baltimore, aged 74 years.
He was a son of the late Henry and Mary Williams Cassell, natives of Virginia.
The deceased farmer for some time near Dickerson.
Surviving are his wife, Mrs. Augusta Paxton Cassell; a daughter, Mrs. Ada Cregger, Motters Station; two sons, Olen Cassell, Nebo, Va., and Herbert Cassell, Upperco; twenty grandchildren and five great-grandchildren; these brothers and sisters, James, John and Bogel Cassell; Mrs. W. A. Williams, Mrs. F. L. Atwell, Mrs. Charles Williams, all residents of Virginia.
Funeral services will be held this afternoon at 1 o'clock at the Methodist church in Dickerson. Interment will be in Monocacy Cemetery, Beallsville. M. L. Creager and Son, funeral directors.
