Carol loved to eat, especially sweets. Carol was always happy and loved to express herself by making people laugh. Carol lived life to the fullest and was a great person to be around.
Carol was preceded in death by her sister, Stella Clay, parents, Jose and Mary Cata, brothers, Cecilo Cata and Gregorio "Cop" Tapia.
Carol is survived by her brothers, Herman Agoyo and his wife, Rachel, Donald A. Cata Sr. and his wife, Mabel and Donald J. Gonzáles and his wife, Claudia, sister, Margaret L. Taylor and her husband, Jerry and numerous other nephews, nieces, and other loving relatives and friends. Public visitation will be held on Sunday, December 4, 2011 at 6:30 p.m. at First Indian Baptist Church in Española with a wake to follow at 7:00 p.m. Funeral Service will be held on Monday, December 5, 2011 at 9:00 a.m. at First Indian Baptist Church in Española with burial to follow at Ohkay Owingeh Community Cemetery with the following serving as pallbearers, Rich Taylor, Donald Cata Jr., Rainbird Taylor, Ryan Taylor, Logan Sapcutt, Duane Serna and Joe Paul Clay.
