Alfred Olsen, son of Danish parents, Caroline Mathilde Nielsen & Rasmus Peder Jorgensen who met and married in Salem, Utah in 1897, and shortly after the birth of their first son, James Elias Jorgensen in 1898, they returned to Arhus, Denmark. There, Alfred Jorgensen was born. In 1902 Caroline returned to Utah with her two sons after her husband passed away. In 1905 (Salt Lake City, Utah) she married Carl Ludvig "Louis" Olsen, also from Demark, who happily adopted James and Alfred as his own sons. From that marriage, three more children resulted, Lillian Louise Olsen-Cole, Louis Richard Olsen, and Roy Clarence Olsen. Alfred married Adelaid Katherine Hindmarsh-Clements on the 12 July 1922 in Salt Lake City. Except for his adopted father Carl Louis and his older brother James, he and the rest of his family moved to Los Angeles in the mid to late 1920's. After sepparating from Adelaide sometime later, he then found love again with Ruth Marie. Five months to the day after Ruth's passing, Alfred joined her side.
