Ms. Rackley was a member of the LaGrange Park Baptist Church, former proprietor of the Reilly Road Farmers Market, retired office manager for Distribution Construction Co. and a volunteer at the New Life Thrift Store. She was also the world's greatest grandma.
She was preceded in death by three brothers, Roy H. Anderson, Robert L. Anderson and Morris Anderson.
She is survived by a son, Retired Air Force Lt. Col. Curtis Gregory Rackley and wife Ret. Air Force Lt. Col. Lisa Rackley, of Niceville, Fla.; two brothers, Billy Gene Anderson and wife Frances, of Wilmington and Curtis Henry Anderson Jr. and wife Brigitte, of Fayetteville; a sister, Margaret A. Brown of Burgaw; and four grandchildren, Steele Anderson Rackley, Aline Elizabeth Rackley, Spencer Curtis Rackley and Olivia Catherine Rackley, all of Niceville.
Funeral services for Ms. Catherine Anderson Rackley will be conducted at 10 a.m. Tuesday in the LaGrange Park Baptist Church with the Rev. David L. Weeks officiating. Interment will follow in Pinecrest Cemetery in Warsaw. The family will receive friends at the Rogers and Breece Funeral Home from 7 to 9 tonight.
