Newspaper: Mrs. Elizabeth Brown Arnold was buried Saturday in Cedar Cemetery following her funeral held at St. Matthew's Church. She was born in Middletown, August 14, 1850, a daughter and eldest child of the late Peleg Peckham Brown and the late Harriet Nye Brown, his wife. The family removed from Middletown to Beaver Tail Farm at the beginning of the Civil War, and lived there until the children were grown and married. She was married to the late Daniel Arnold and had two sons, William H. of Newport, and Frederick of Jamestown. In addition she is survived by two brothers, a sister, several grandchildren, and several nieces and nephews.
