Joseph P. Bennett, 86, of Greeley, Colo., died there Sunday. Born at Des Moines, he farmed the Neola area before moving to Colorado in 1924. Survivors include; widow Tena; son Brownlee E. "Buster" Bennett of Greeley; brother, John A. Bennett of Omaha, two grandchildren and two great grandchildren. Graveside services will be at 10 a.m. Friday at the Neola Cemetery. The Rev. Doyle W. Brewington, pastor of the Neola United Presbyterian Church will officiate. The body will arrive Tuesday afternoon at the Meyer Funeral Home in Council Bluffs. Meyer's will be in charge of arrangements.
