Mildred was born August 27, 1921 in Dallas to James E. and Ada (Wilson) Sheffield. She enjoyed making jewelry, quilting, gardening and crocheting. Mildred loved time spent with her grandchildren, great grandchildren and great-great grandchildren. She passed away January 18, 2012 in Alvin.
She is preceded in death by parents, James and Ada Sheffield; first husband, Arthur Wittneben and second husband, Harry Jester; and sisters, Yvonne, Judy and Doris.
Mildred is survived by her daughters, Norma Talbot and husband, John, of Alvin, Gwen Dahlin and husband, Court, of Sugar Land, and Brenda Patsch and husband, Josef, of Innsbruck, Austria; grandchildren, Robin Ramirez, Darla Hill, Anna Shahan, Katherin Patsch and Christopher Patsch; 8 great grandchildren and 3 great-great grandchildren; along with other relatives and friends.
