Mrs. Roup died Monday after a prolonged illness.
The former Mary Lund, she was born Oct 12, 1893, in Clinton. On Jan. 1,1914, she was married to Lester Roup of DeWitt. While living in Low Moor, she was active in the Methodist Woman's Society, the Eastern Star and Rebekah Lodge.
She is survived by her husband; two sons, Melvin Roup, Cedar Rapids, and Robert Roup, Clinton; two daughters, Mrs. Homer Emerson and Mrs. Don Wilson, both of Cedar Rapids; a brother, Arnold Lund, Dixon, Ill.; two sisters, Mrs. Ernest Goers and Mrs. Anna Hart, Clinton; 10 grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.
