Death of Mrs. Priscilla Rogers.
Mrs. Priscilla Rogers, a pioneer in LaGrange county, died yesterday afternoon at the home of her daughter, Mrs. Fred H. Seaburn, in Springfield township, from the infirmities of age, in her eighty-eighth year.
Mrs. Rogers was the mother of five children, of whom two, Mrs. Seaburn and Albert N. Rogers, are living.
Mrs. Rogers was the widow of Horace Rogers, who was brought to this county in infancy, in the year 1832. She was the daughter of Isaac Gage, another of the oldest settlers.
Her funeral will be held Saturday afternoon at two o'clock, at the home of the son, the old Rogers homestead, with burial in Rogers Cemetery at Brushy Prairie.
