The Columbus Journal, April 6, 1887

BAKER--John F. Baker, an unmarried man residing with his uncle P.L. Baker, near Cornlea, twenty miles northwest of this city, committed suicide by shooting himself through the right temple with a revolver last Friday morning. An inquest was held in the evening by Dr. Schug, coroner, which decided that he committed suicide while insane.
