William H. Wissinger died at his home in Cherry Tree on Saturday morning following an illness of over three months. He was born in Greenville, April 21, 1858. He was a son of the late Henry and Margaret Spellman Wissinger. He is survived by his widow and three daughters, Edna L, Ida L. and Anna L., and the following brothers and sisters: Jesse A., of Titusville, Fla.; Silas D., of Park Hill; Mrs. Mary Hurnheimer, of Cherry Tree; J. Lincoln, of Cresson; Abner J., of Williamsport; Mrs. Lina Garman, of Ansonville; John G.. of South Mere., Fla.; Harry A., of Spokane, Wash.; Charley E., of Cherry Tree, and Frank L., of Summerlield, Fla. The services were conducted at his home on Tuesday afternoon by his pastor Rev. Oran Fyock, assisted by Rev. C. O. Anderson. Burial was made at Taylorsville.
