Mr. W.B. Glover one of the best known farmer of the county, was found dead in his bed Monday morning at his home near Middlebrook, aged about 58 years. Although he had been complaining for more than a year with heart trouble, death came most unexpectedly as he appeared in his usual health on retiring. His wife was in Clifton Forge visiting her brother when she received the sad news, and was completed prostrated. Mr. Glover was one of the most progressive farmers in his section and was a man of sterling character, and was greatly esteemed by all who knew him. The funeral took place Wednesday morning from Mt. Tabor Lutheran church. Mr. Glover was twice married, his first wife was a Miss Dull, and his second, who survives him was a Miss Cochran. He leaves the following children -- Mrs. H.P. Riley, Mrs. R.G. Coiner and Miss Minnie Glover of the county, and six sons, J.M. Glover, of West Virginia, Dr. B.B. Glover, of Lexington, J.B. Glover, of Texas, Carl and Clarence Glover of the county.
