Eli Duncan Rites Held on Wednesday
Eli Duncan, former Ritzville mortician, passed away at his home at Freeland on Whidbey Island and funeral services were held yesterday from the Hedgecock's Funeral home.
Duncan, with his wife Beatrice, came to Ritzville in 1947 and leased the Haight Funeral home. He operated this until 1949 as the Duncan-Haight Funeral home when he joined Ralph Danekas in operating Danekas and Duncan Funeral home.
Duncan retired in 1959 and moved to Freeland. His wife survives him at the home.
