Frank was the son of Ottow and Eva (Cox) Lyons.

He is survived by his son Dennis and wife Diane of Plymouth, Indiana, six grandchildren and several great-grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by an infant son, Ray D. Lyons, an infant daughter, Kathy, and his daughter Linda Shafer.
