Lawrence Frietch, Blessing for Lawrence Frietch, a member of the Glendale Volunteer Fire Department, will be held Saturday at 9:30 a.m. at St. Gabriel Church, Glendale. Requiem high mass will be held at the church the following Monday or Tuesday. He died Tuesday at St. Francis Hospital after an illness for about one year. Frietch, 37, lived at 61 West Sharon Avenue, Glendale. He was employed as a stationery firemen for the St. Clara Coventry, Hartwelll. Frietch leaves his widow, Mrs. Edna Frietch; two sons, Billy, 7, and Richie, 6; seven sisters, Sister M. Laura Marie, S.P.S., Dayton, O.; Miss Helen Frietch, Mrs. Marie Tippenhauer, Mrs. Dorothy Bucheit, Mrs. Betty Rolf, Mrs. Jean Ruggerio and Mrs. Jennie Benz, and four brothers, Fred, James, Robert and Daniel all of Cincinnati. The Hodapp funeral home, Carthage, is in charge of arrangements.
