Homer Lee Hightower, Jr., 92 of Phenix City, AL passed away Saturday, November 28, 2009 at St. Francis Hospital in Columbus, GA.
Graveside services will be held 11:00 a.m. EST Monday at Lakeview Memory Gardens with Rev. Charles Keown officiating.
Mr. Hightower was born September 11, 1917 in Phenix City, AL, son of the late Homer Lee Hightower, Sr. and Mittie Voncille Johnson Hightower. He retired from Lummus Industries and was a member of Lakewood Baptist Church.
He was preceded in death by his wife of 59 years, Mildred Lucille Howard Hightower and two brothers, Dan Hightower and Herbert O'Neil Hightower.
He is survived by one nephew Mike Boswell and wife Dale of Hatchechubbee, AL and one niece Christie Boswell of Phenix City, AL; two great nieces Jodi Lynn Boswell of Prattville, AL and Jan Marie Boswell of Phenix City, AL.
