Jeffery German 1943 - 2011 Jeff was born in Hood River, Oregon April 30, 1943 to Thomas and Violet German. He passed away December 20, 2011 fighting a courageous battle against cancer. Jeff came to Bakersfield after working in the ship yards in Bremerton, Washington. He retired from Kern Machinery as a Fabricator/Welder. He was very talented in making anything from tin men to canning fruit, and also a great cook. He will be missed by many. Jeff is survived by his wife Christine and his sons, Rick and Dan. He also leaves behind his daughter Tracy and step-daughters, Jessica, Debi and Jamie and many grandchildren. Services will be held on Friday, January 6th, at 10:00am at Mission Mortuary, 531 California Ave., with reception at noon at The American Legion, 130 Goodman.
