John Beshoner
John I. Beshoner, 69, of Paris, died Tuesday, Jan. 6, 2004.
He was retired from the City of Paris. He was a veteran of the Korean War and Vietnam War serving in the U. S. Navy for 20 years. He attended the Catholic church and was preceded in death by his parents, Carl and Theresia C. (Eckelhoff) Beshoner; five brothers, Edward, George, Albert, Herman, and Tony Beshoner; one sister, Dorothy "Dora" Kern.
Rosary was at 7 p.m. Thursday, Jan. 8 in the Roller Chapel of Paris.
Mass was at 11 a.m. Friday, Jan. 9 in the St. Joseph Catholic Church in Paris with burial in the Oakwood Cemetery of Paris under the direction of Roller Funeral Home of Paris.
He is survived by his wife, Goldia Scrivner Beshoner of Paris; four daughters, Kimberly Berry of Paris, Kristy Guerber of Paris, Kitrina "Kit" of Paris, and Kathy Schluterman of Paris; two sisters, Toni McGehee of Paris and Carrie Wheat of Bixby, Okla.; three brothers, Frank and Gerhard Beshoner both of Paris, and Father Sebastian Beshoner, O. S. B. of Subiaco; eight grandchildren; and one great-granddaughter.
Pallbearers were John David Berry, Morgan Dawn Brooks, Christopher "Topher" Guerber, Tyson Reide Brooks, Jordanne Elisbeth Berry, Abby Lin Schluterman, Ivy Denae Schluterman, and Emmy Lane Schluterman.
